Terms of Use

What this site is

Scam Number List explains how the common government-impersonation phone scams work, the pressure tactics they use, where to report a call, and it shows a snapshot of FCC unwanted-call complaint volume. It does not publish reports about individual phone numbers and it cannot tell you whether any particular number is being used by a scammer.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to harass anyone or to scrape it at a rate that affects other users.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Scam Number List is not liable for any decision you make based on information found on the site. If you receive a call you believe is fraudulent, contact the impersonated agency directly to verify before taking action.
