What we collect
ScamDialer collects two kinds of information. First, basic server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, request URL, timestamp) for every page view, which we retain for a short period purely for operational reasons such as detecting abuse and debugging issues. Second, the information you choose to submit through the report form: a phone number, a description of the call, an optional location, and an optional name.
What we publish
The text of your report, the optional location and the optional name will appear on the public page for the phone number you submitted. Do not include personal financial details, your full address, or anything you wouldn't want a stranger to read. We strip out obvious identifiers before publication where we can, but you should treat the text field as fully public.
What we don't do
We do not sell user data. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers. We do not embed third-party social network buttons that send data back to those networks. The site uses third-party advertising slots which may set their own cookies; you can opt out at youradchoices.com.
Cookies
The site itself does not set login cookies or analytics cookies in this build. Advertising slots, if enabled, may set cookies according to the ad network's own privacy policy.
Children
ScamDialer is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date below and post a short note on the home page.
